The last few weeks have seen artists across all industries get seriously creative to keep you entertained during lockdown. JW Anderson added his name to the list earlier this week, announcing an upcoming live-streamed Q&A series, entitled JW(Q&)A. Yesterday, the designer followed up by revealing his very first guest: talented photographer and frequent collaborator, Tyler Mitchell.

Fans will have the opportunity to ask Mitchell whatever they like, as well as the power to decide who takes part in upcoming interviews. It’s likely that Anderson’s close network of forward-thinking muses will step forward over the coming weeks, offering valuable insight into the fashion industry.

Undeniably, Mitchell has plenty of experience to share: from building his own cult following to photographing Beyoncé for the cover of Vogue (and becoming the first black photographer to ever do so), his rise to success has been a source of inspiration for plenty of budding creatives. He’s also worked regularly with Anderson on dreamy, ethereal campaigns, which dissect and reframe our ideas of suburbia, repackaging them in a way that’s both carefree and endearingly playful.
