It’s the big 4-0 for Emporio Armani, and the brand are celebrating in style with a series of events all taking place on 23rd September. It all kicks off with the SS22 show, which is set to be held in Armani’s vast Teatro venue, and will be presented in front of a full audience for the first time in a long while (like you don’t know).

That same day, at Armani’s Silos art space, THE WAY WE ARE opens, an exhibition tracing the storied history of Emporio Armani through four decades – expect plenty of incredible Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott imagery and some pristine suiting. Alongside the exhibition will be the launch of a special issue of Emporio Armani Magazine – first launched in 1988, the publication halted in 1997 before being revived in 2017, since then it’s boasted some stunning editorials alongside musings from friends of the brand including Hollywood icons Jodie Foster and Diane Kruger. In the run-up to the 23rd, anticipation will be heightened by a series of billboards placed in Milan’s most significant locations.

The Emporio Armani show takes place on 23rd September as part of MFW.
