Kim Jones has announced French footballing sensation Kylian Mbappé as the new Global Ambassador for Dior and the house’s Sauvage fragrance.
At just 22 years old, the Paris Saint-Germain winger is one of football’s most prolific young talents, having won multiple trophies for his Ligue 1 club team and playing a major part in France’s 2018 World Cup win. This month also saw him become the youngest player to score 100 goals for a single team in the French top-flight having netted a brace against rivals AS Monaco.

Alongside shared values of excellence, Mbappé also echoes Dior’s own philanthropy. The footballer is involved in numerous charity initiatives, including sponsoring the Premiers de cordée, which provides sporting initiatives for hospitalised children, while last year saw the Frenchman launch his own association, ‘Inspired by KM’ with the aim to inspire children to reach their goals.
Mbappé’s new position at Dior follows a two-season collaboration between the fashion house and Paris Saint-Germain that saw Jones design the team’s official wardrobe.
