Fronting a special collector’s edition cover of the new HERO 27 and a unique portfolio inside, Hedi Slimane shoots portraits of riders from the SS22 Celine Homme show exclusively for the issue; both on the ground and spinning 360 through the air.

A horse-powered rush captured on film, Slimane’s Cosmic Cruiser runway revved into action with a team of high-adrenaline bikers flipping and tricking across the runway-slash-ramp situated on the shores of the Grand Gaou island. It was a sign of things to come, mirroring a collection that hit hard – charged by incendiary youth movements and adolescent dreams. The message was clear: don’t get left behind.
