After being prized apart from our loved ones by Covid (remember that saga? Odd) Raf Simons is now encouraging us to get closer than ever.

The Belgian designer’s new men’s and women’s FW22 campaign, shot by Willy Vanderperre and styled by Olivier Rizzo, shows models in a series of intimate poses, holding each other and even snogging while wearing some furry headwear in a moment of tactile passion. Against a stark white background, these are some sexy sci-fi lovers, all cropped haircuts, shimmering patent leather jumpsuits and kinky leather boots.

And Raf’s name has been front-page fashion news lately, having postponed his London debut earlier this month in respect to Queen Elizabeth II’s death, and just yesterday the designer showed his latest collection as co-designer at Prada – a deconstructed dreamland inspired by “gestures of error”.
