Loewe announce Taylor Russell as the house’s new global ambassador, ahead of what is set to be a career-defining performance in Luca Guadagnino‘s Bones and All starring opposite Timothée Chalamet.

The news comes after the Canadian actor opened the brand’s SS23 runway show in Paris wearing a structured black velvet dress. In her role as the brand’s US-based ambassador, Russell also stars in Loewe’s upcoming SS23 pre-collection campaign shot by long-time collaborator German photographer, Juergen Teller (above).

Creative director Jonathan Anderson says: “I first met Taylor through a very dear friend of ours, Luca Guadagnino. I’ve never been so inspired by someone — it was the start of a very special friendship. I’m so proud that she agreed to open the SS23 show, and excited to have her join the Loewe family.”
