Summer’s coming, and Burberry‘s Daniel Lee is ready and waiting; revealing a debut swimwear campaign for the British heritage brand in ode to “summer escapism”.

Teaming up with London-based photographer Tyrone Lebon – who shot Lee’s debut Burberry campaign – the imagery transports us to exotic, sun-kissed landscapes that look far removed from Britain’s current weather situation. Here, Burberry’s cast relax on yachts wearing a nova check bikini or chill on sandy beaches in matching trunks. Burberry travel bags hang on tree branches and check dressing gowns are ideal for getting dry after a dip in the clear blue ocean. Throughout, the brand’s iconic nova check takes centre stage, first introduced in the 1920s as signature trench coat lining.

The imagery is joined by a video also created by Lebon, which pays homage to vintage home movies, accompanied by a soundtrack by British producer Vegyn.
