Cherry World’s SS25 collection launches at Dover Street Market

Cherry World, the new LA-based brand founded by photographer Glen Luchford, Frame Denim co-founder Josh LeVine, commercial artist Fergus Purcell, and stylist Fran Burns, has been going from strength to strength lately. Having launched its FW24 collection in London last October, the brand is now readying to join the big leagues by launching its SS25 collection in Dover Street Market.

The first drop, which is out today, pulls inspiration from a number of Americana themes, as well as from graphics and musical icons. Black Flag were on the moodboard, alongside The Doors, early Stussy, The Runaways, Luchford’s own Lollapalooza festival images and, naturally, Cher. Manufactured exclusively in Los Angeles, Airbrush sweatpants, fleece hoodies, boxy Hawaiian shirts, varsity jackets and Oxfords make up some of the key pieces from the SS25 collection, crafted in easeful West Coast silhouettes and decorated with house iconography designed by Purcell, such as Tribal laser patterns, ‘World’ motifs, and subverted Stars and Stripes.

“What has always hyped me most about what we are doing is the way we’re riffing on the subculture and counterculture of our youths – from punk and surf, to skating, hardcore and fashion,” says LeVine. “It’s what we always found interesting and inspiring, which we’re twisting and applying to really well-made high-end gear.”

Cherry World’s SS25 collection is available exclusively at Dover Street Market London and on cherryworld.com
