Jizz-Jazz pioneer Mac DeMarco croons with the best. Riding high on the acclaimed success of his second full length record Salad Days the affable, gap-toothed Canadian has won our hearts with his goofy, slacker charm and melodic warbling guitar riffs.

Mac’s honed a well-established loose cannon reputation for haywire stage shows, from frequent nudity to surprising Mac-ified covers, bits he touched on in his chat with fellow word-of-mouth phenomenon Connan Mockasin in our HERO 11 interview.

Fresh off finishing his latest mini-LP (the ingeniously titled Another One, out August), his latest pit stop was Field Day in London – and fair to say a fair few festival go-ers took to blazing Victoria Park with only Mac in mind.

We passed Mac and his band of vagabonds a Polaroid camera to snap the action – post-crowd-surf.
