Existing as a catalyst for London’s dynamic photography community, Photo London  comes to the city for its second edition of the international photography fair. Opening today and running until May 22, the four-day exhibit harnesses the city’s outstanding creative talent: from curators, exhibitors, dealers, leading photographers and young burgeoning photographers too, the annual event makes room for every kind of talent.

A stellar line-up of fine art to fashion documentary, Somerset House plays host for the second time, opening its doors to over 80 leading galleries. From Ellen Von Unwerth’s iconic depiction of Antonioni’s cult film Blow-Up – featuring Kate Moss and David Bowie, no less to rare prints by the 19th century pioneer William Henry, and London-born photographer Juno Calypso’s mystifying honeymoon suite series, in the guise of alter-ego Joyce, the works exhibited are a playful melange dipping in-and-out of both the classic and modern.
