Nice one
This June Stella McCartney announced plans to expand her eponymous label into menswear, yesterday the British designer revealed her debut collection.
For her inaugural line, the Central St. Martins-educated designer drew inspiration from British style history, combining a myriad subcultural influences, from punk to britpop, rap to rave to create “a quintessential British style that gently pushes boundaries between function and fashion; formalwear and sportswear.”
Having trained at Savile Row under Edward Sexton, tailoring forms the lynchpin of the designer’s collections and for her menswear line this background is realised via classic cuts and streamlined casuals. The menswear collection is available for pre-order starting today and will be available in stores starting January.
