Founded last year by writer and editor Luisa Le Voguer Couyet and photographer Scarlett Carlos Clarke, Hate zine cuts through society’s dredge. Going against the homogeny of our current media landscape, Hate continues to tear apart the boundaries of what’s an acceptable discourse. This is the shit that matters.

Featuring contributions from the likes of Tim Noble, Pam Hogg and Martin Parr, Hate addresses issues such as mental health, sex and gender through promoting individuality, creativity, authenticity and tongue-in-cheek exploits. Now gearing up for their forth issue, Luisa and Scarlett are throwing a huge South London blowout to fund the new publication.

Taking over Brixton Windmill tomorrow night, the duo have curated a killer line-up featuring live performances from the likes of Tear and Fish, as well as DJ sets from Zine Malik (aka Spector’s Fred Macpherson & Swim Deep’s Cavan McCarthy) and Fat White Family’s Lias Saoudi – and at just £3 on the door, you wont find a better deal at Brixton market.
