Out of Office
Staged in Milan’s historic Palazzo del Senato, the likes of David Beckham (who had a hand in this season’s collection), Khalid and Michael Ward took their seats on the front row amid the landmark’s scenic gardens. BOSS‘ SS25 show was an ode to on-duty dressing, titled Out of Office, the collection drew inspiration from the fundamentals of a corporate wardrobe and reimagined wardrobe staples through a lens of functionality and play.
A 9-5 lifestyle melted into pieces which wouldn’t look out of place in the hours of 5-9 as silk coats came sweeping down the runway alongside casual shirting and tailored shorts that fell just below the knee. Dresses were draped asymmetrically across the body and skirts billowed from the waist in delicate pleats, all in neutral hues of cream, brown, khaki and navy. BOSS’ signature suiting was deconstructed this season, swapping traditional double-breasted power suits for an understated three-button suit in delicate fabric, marking a shift in the brand’s design language. In taking a step back from structured silhouettes, BOSS imbued this collection with a sense of ease as their modern men and women prepared to take a well-earned break from the office.
