Olly Shinder was back doing what he does best at Fashion East for SS25. His first look, an all-black scouts uniform, complete with neckerchief, was sported by a model with a freshly shaven head. Immediately we were transported back into the seedy world of Olly Shinder, where fetish and rave gear become elevated to runway-ready garments. Many of the looks on the runway were directly informed by the language of uniform and militaria, made sexy and kinda scary. One model held her impossibly long ponytail in her hand like a whip. Paired with her wearing a tight military look, it felt like something from a banned 70s porno, which is a comparison Shinder would undoubtedly revel in.
