Dilara Findikoglu released her first swimwear line
Not that you’d know it living in London, but the height of summer is upon us and one of the city’s most exciting designers, Dilara Findikoglu, has just released her first line of swimwear. Created in response to a fictional holiday destination where you leave your troubles in the trunk and revel in some lighthearted beach-action, the eight styles are about reclaiming a sense of optimism remembering to have fun.

Celine‘s SS22 Cosmic Cruisers took flight

Off-White set up new digs in Madrid
Opening along Madrid’s Golden Mile, Off-White’s first store in the Spanish capital marks their second in the country overall, having recent openeing a pop-up in Ibiza. Off-White Madrid has been conceived as more of a long-term pop-up, set in an industrial building that’s been given a serious face-lift. Stocking womenswear and menswear as well as accessories, homeware, kids and special collections, local residents can expect queues round the block.

Off-White Madrid is located at 25 Calle Ortega y Gasset.

JW Anderson delivered a new twist
This week saw JW Anderson (re)introduce the Twister Bag, an old friend we first met all the way back in SS15. It has returned now in the women’s FW21 collection and Resort 22 collection, with new colourways and sizes but the same meticulous attention to great craftsmanship. Wearable as a clutch, shoulder or cross-body bag, the newly evolved Twister is better than ever.

Louis Vuitton released their first-ever unisex shoe
The Charlie is a sneaker of our times. Not only is it the first unisex trainer from Louis Vuitton, it is also a model of sustainable production methods, with 90 percent of the shoe made from recycled or bio-sourced materials. From the recycled rubber sole to the layers of bio-material made from corn, it’s all part of LVMH’s ten-year plan to radically alter their relationship with nature.
