Fashion roun-up
Time flies, so to keep you in the loop, we’ve rounded up all the important snippets of fashion news from the past seven days into one neat feature. This week includes Boss in London, a hypebeast dream and an Acne footwear collab.
Swedish brands Acne Studios and Kero join forces
The footwear capsule consists of calf-high or knee-high boots and mules featuring Kero’s signature Sami ‘beak’ design, crafted in calf hide using a natural tanning process. Celebrating the launch, Acne pulled together some of their mates for an A-star campaign featuring musicians and artists Bakar, Alewya, Bladee, Ellie Roswell [Wolf Alice] and Wolf Gillespie.

Raf Simons raved in London
Having delayed his SS23 show due to the Queen’s passing, Simons finally made his London debut this week. Taking over the vast Printworks rave hangout, the designer brought the beats, energy and a raw, minimalist ode to dancefloor euphoria.
Gucci, Palace, Gucci, Palace, Gucci, Palace…
Hype x 1000000, the Italian fashion house and cult London maestros converge on a collection that is a 100 percent guaranteed sell-out. Mixing Palace’s skate silhouettes and louche designs with Gucci’s maximalist 70s aesthetic, buzzwords ignite into a collection of graphic tees, football shirts, moto leathers, plaid shirts, hoodies, checkerboard chap jeans and oversized fuzzy hats. Needless to say, the collab also sees the brand’s logos merge, with Gucci’s Double-G and Palace’s Tri-Ferg forging a united new motif.
The collection will launch exclusively via Gucci Vault on 21st October before selling at pop-ups and Palace stores worldwide.
